Like what would you wear on a regular basis if you could?
-
I like wearing dark stuff
Chokers if I had more of them definitely
I might try those pants I keep seeing at hot topic with all the chains and stuff -
I usually wear a nice shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. Or if I'm wearing leggings, it'll either be tennis shoes or my pair of brown boots.
And the shirt is usually brightly colored, or plain with a little detail here and there. Sometimes both.
I would consider that my style since I don't usually like to wear anything else. -
Oh also no jewelry
-
I wear a lot of jeans and boots
-
I usually like wearing pastel-goth outfits, but most of the time it's just a hoodie and leggings.
-
Puravida bracelets, necklaces, Quiet Storm, anything summery tbh
-
And oversized tees 😤
-
Hoodies, pastel colors, dark colors, neutral colors, dull colors, just nothing neon 😶
Also jeans lol -
Honestly, I mostly just wear band tees, jeans and sneakers. Starset bracelet on the left arm, occasionally a watch on the right. Rather basic, yeah. I also occasionally wear a leather vest when there's a particular lack of the usual furnace-heat weather where I live, but usually when it starts cooling off enough for that it goes past it and goes cold enough where I prefer to wear a Starset hoodie. I always wear sunglasses when outside, almost never wear a hat unless it's for a particular special outfit, but that's not day-to-day stuff.
I really like gothic fashion but outside of the colors of my clothes skewing basically as dark as possible, I wouldn't describe my style that way, mainly because outside of particular outfits I just wear what I'm gonna wear so it probably doesn't align well to really any particular style, and if it does, that's by coincidence haha. So it might, but I doubt it. I've considered refining my style more but honestly I leave home so rarely these days it generally doesn't matter. -
I was a huge alt kid all through highschool. I liked to experiment with lots of different cultural influences. Ripped and safety pinned flannel that was like that because I genuinely couldn't afford more. Fingerless gloves and harnesses. Every style of goth or punk skirt you can imagine, always layered with two or three different tights. I loved wearing solid red tights with spiderweb lace or a loose fishnet over it. Kept me out of the dress code violation while still feeling badass.
After I graduated, my jobs forced me to tone it down. Whenever I go out I like to dress up alternative, but since I work with plants I tend to embrace my hippie side at work with neutral and trendy "van life" vibes. -
Oh and if you wanna invest in some alt fashion definitely get yourself some rocking boots. Guaranteed to give you plenty of confidence and compliments while you wait to invest in the rest of your wardrobe. Demonias is going through a bit of a controversial phase RN, so I find their boots at thrift stores brand new all the time. If regular combat boots are your thing go for it, I personally liked a platformed low top boot and knee-high lace ups. Platformed knee highs if I'm feeling extra spicy.

Idk i just look either goth or like an egirl 💀 depends on the day u catch me at. Either way it's somewhere on the alt scale no matter what
-
Yeah I've actually considered going with boots before, I do think they'd fit right in with what I'm going for, especially moreso than what I've currently got. There are a couple of reasons why I haven't, as of yet, but I'll certainly look into that and see if I can work those out.
