Ok I can rant ❤
So, Commander Cody was first introduced in Revenge of the Sith, where he executed Order 66 and all that. Then, he was introduced into Clone Wars. Those two productions were around three years apart. They basically reintroduced Cody in TCW, and kind of had him as the generic clone trooper. It was nice, because he was recognizable. It also gave the show an already existing clone, so that the show wouldn’t seem like it was only inventing new clone trooper characters.
Revenge of the Sith provided the end to Cody’s story, while TCW allowed us to see what happened before then. It’s the “tell the story’s end and then fill in the gaps” thing.
I think that reintroducing him in TBB is going to be very hard to do. And honestly, I don’t think I want to see him in the show. He’s supposed to set an example of what happens to an independent person underneath the the influence of the inhibitor chip. I don’t feel like it’s necessary to have him, because then it just really throws the viewers off. Essentially, Cody set the baseline of what happened to every clone during Order 66. Except, now the Bad Batch has shown that the “baseline” doesn’t actually really do anything. Clones don’t like the Empire and etc etc.
It’s also a big problem because Cody is supposed to be a secondary character, TBB is most likely gonna make him a primary one. It’s hard, because he’s been a secondary character for over ten years, and suddenly he’s going to change.
I just don’t want them to bring back Cody because he was literally an example of what happens during Order 66. Without that, the line between the Republic and the Empire gets really blurred. While it’s nice to use him for the plot, I think that a new character should be reintroduced. Cody shouldn’t be like “This is wrong”.
He really should just fade back into the background and become a stormtrooper, because his existence kind of solidified the fact that the clones actually transferred to stormtroopers.
While it’s nice to see him again, I don’t think it’s necessary. -

Oh my god, do people not know that you need to have a comma when you have their name in a sentence?
I have no f---ing idea how to explain, just
✅ “Hey, Paco.”
❌ “Hey Paco.”

I’m really shaky and feeling very overwhelmed

Man, this is actually urgent and I just don’t know what to do

The Bad Batch is like the series where everything is at stake. Because there’s no more “knowing how the story ended but no knowing what happened before”.
It’s just a big open canvas where literally anything can happen. I’ve done this before with TBB season one, but before watching the episodes, I ALWAYS search up spoilers for them. This show already stresses me out, and no way am I gonna be surprised when watching -
STAR WARS PUTS ME THROUGH THE FIVE STAGES OF GRIEF.
