It's hard being away from my sister sometimes because I wonder what lies my parents tell her about why I left, what I'm doing and how much I love them. I could never know what they tell that poor child. But I hope it's not that I abandoned her. They were already working lies into her head when I was still there, getting her to come at me like Mom; getting her to believe that I'm the bad guy. It's what broke me, more than anything else. It's what made me feel I was no longer necessary.
