So synesthesia is where two of your senses cross over each other. Some examples are something like tasting colors and smelling sounds, things like that.
I have two forms of this, both related to sight.
One of them, I can see temperature. I don't actually see anything because you can't see air but it's like I can see how compact it is and the more compact the colder it is. I think this one is a cross between touch and sight, even though I can just look out a window and see what the temperature outside is without feeling it.
Anyway, the other one that I have where I can see the electromagnetic fields around objects and people. I'm not exactly sure what this one is a cross with, but I looked it up and it's classified as synesthesia.
I usually don't tell people this stuff because normal people aren't supposed to see colorful outlines around everything or be able to to see if they should wear a coat or not just from looking out the window. But I trust you guys. I'll be glad to answer any questions if anyone has any. -
i think i also have a sort of synesthesia too
-
I think that’s neat
-
🍭 okay tat that’s actually like really epic /gen
-
@Nikki, What kind do you think you have?
Thanks you two :) -
Oh my freaking god that is so cool
Can you like
Take a picture of something with magnetic fields and draw the lines for us I wanna seeeee -
I'll just describe it for you.
So the vast majority of the time it's just an outline about 1 or 2 mm thick.
Also the vast majority of the time it's only electric blue, bright orange, or both. Usually, it's half orange, half blue.
It had been that way for like three years until about a few months ago when I saw a different color on my hand, it was purple.
Then the day after, my friend's ankle was yellow.
After that, I saw a bright green on my boyfriend's arm.
And about I week ago I saw that bright green on my fingers.
Other than those few occassions, it's always been either that blue or orange.
Another thing is that it's also pretty vibrant around shadows, and it's very bright when I'm in the sunlight.
I think it's obvious why for the sunlight, it means more energy.
For the shadows, it's not so much me seeing the outline of the shadow but the outline of the light, since energy always builds up more around the lack of it it looks brighter. -
TATTT THAT'S SO COOL AHSOAB
-
Another thing is that I can't really do either of these in the dark.
Also these two things might be related somehow. -
🥝 Oh, that's very cool! I once read a book where one of the main characters had synesthesia, actually.
-
I think i have one type of that
This is soo cool tat i wanna learn moreeeeeee -
That is really cool. I wish I had that. I only have ADHD.

@Trem what kind?

...can I pleeeeeeease get a picture with a few colorful lines on it though :3
