it's a lot, so i'll continue it in more posts. we'll start with the intro thingy-majigi
imagine
a v small town called GoToQuiz. all the users live there.
the official threads are their homes, and the name of their official thread is printed on a cute little welcome mat at their front door. the people that don't have official threads are the homeless (idk what else xD sry) or the people that just live with their family or friends. all the different forums are different things/places around town, and those will be explained in a minute, in posts below. -
the theater forum is a movie theater in the town.
the ballroom forum is a vintage music shop in town. i imagine being called "ballroom records" or something like that lol
the lounge forum is not a specific place, in fact. it's almost what the entire town would fit into
the study forum is a psychiatric office in town, where residents may go for therapy/psychiatry/psychology appointments.
the wine cellar forum is the town hall, where the mayor works, and where town meetings are held, and such.
the garden forum is the little town's church. i mean there's not much to it.
the gym forum is, well, the gym. workout time, people
the living room forum? i feel like it would be a small building where people can relax and watch tv, talk, have coffee, etc. i don't imagine it being used anymore, though. it was something that was used by residents before the current time.
the map room forum is a branch-off of the main office (will be talked about later) where people move in, buy a house in the town, and all things property and such.
i imagine the play room forum to be some sort of club area that's a branch-off room of the town's game centre (will be talked about later) that's centered around manga and anime. you can buy mangas, rent animes, and discuss those fandoms there.
the front porch forum isn't a place, but a dating app made specifically for this town. i imagine it being called "the front porch" or "the doorstep"
the arcade forum would be the town's game centre, where there's arcades, board games, card games, rpg games, d&d, and everything you might think of. pretty simple. -
the library forum is, well, the town library. yooo i can definitely imagine it having a big clock tower or something
the stage forum isn't a place for roleplaying, but a small acting theater where town musicals and plays are preformed.
the garage forum is a car garage, because everyone needs to have their car fixed from time to time, when something's wrong with it.
the kitchen forum is a family-owned restaurant that everyone loves to hang out at. i imagine it serving italian food.
the workshop forum is an art studio, which sells paintings/drawings/digital art/etc., and gives lessons to those wanting to learn those arts.
the server forum is a branch-off of the main office, and it's basically the i.t. department of the town. they help with anything technology or computers around town.
the feedback and updates forum is the main office, where the town owner (GTQ guy) and the other people who run the town (the amazing mods) work.
the GoToQuiz help forum is another branch-off of the main office, where help navigating the town, working certain things in your house, etc., is helped with. -
oooooh wait WHAT IF different users were the owners of the different places around town? ex. tat would own the theater (stage forum)

I'd like to imagine that the size of the threads are also reflected in the houses, like for example someone with a huge thread with have a mansion and someone with like, five pages would have a hut
The little non-personal threads or announcements would be tents
GTQ is a country and Quotev is another country, and people travel in between using a bullet train
Accounts are masks or clothing that their admin wears, depending on the use
Masks are used to conceal the user's identity and clothes are used to display it
Quizzes are part of the average user's job and their income is experience
Users becoming mods experience a sacred ceremony and are blessed by GTQ Guy, who would pretty much be the god of GTQ
Users that are banned are exiled from the country and are marked with a yellow crest, which cannot be removed and cannot be seen by normal users
Underage users are sent to a children's home outside of GTQ and are welcomed back as full citizens once they come of age -
Abandoned threads are abandoned houses filled with the memories of ghosts
The doors to the houses (threads) cannot be locked, unless by a mod
Deleting a thread is demolishing it -
I feel like if GTQ is a town Quotev is the neighbouring town and places like Discord or Instagram are cities in the country
Dammit now I want to do a role play based in this town XD -

Also I own like 10+ Abandoned/haunted houses in this analogy and I travel the different cities/countries and stay in hotels or other peoples houses or I just sleep in the theatre and honestly that suits me very well XD

I would be a part time therapist and actress who's been living in a mansion that was passed down from generation to generation, with a positively bulging wardrobe -
Also I was part of the really big family that runs the town but since I moved to the big city of Discord and was too busy to attend the reunions everyone forgot I was even part of the family when I returned XD

I remember I drew this whole diagram on the family and found out Dark cheated on Breadboy with their son or grandson in order for one user to be the niece of her mother’s child or grandchild

I was an orphan who walked into Rayne and Tat's house because I was curious, eventually being adopted by them
(Which is ironic because it was a roleplay and in the roleplay, that happened exactly lol) -

When ur income is Advanced but u dont even have any quizzes. I got paid AND recieved promotions 4 slacking off on the job LOL
