"Why have you come here?" I asked in a threatening voice

Konata blinked, and said "I-I'm looking for my brother..."She tried to keep her voice steady..

"Is that him?" I asked, pointing to the bloodied body of the elf I hit, but not taking my eyes off of her

She looked over at the body, and shook her head "No.."Her eyes had stoped glaring.

"Then GO. This place is of no use for your kind."

She puffed up, insulted. "I don't have to go! I can't! I have to find my brother!"clutched her katana tightly, angry.

"If I see him, I'll tell you." I spoke through gritted teeth

She shook her head "No. I'm not letting you see him!"She looked past her at the dead elf..then glared at her. "No"

"Go. NOW!" I clutched the knife, ready to attack

Konata stared at her, eyes sad, and sighed, putting her katana up. She first darted down to the dead body, stood there for a second, then disapeared into the trees.

Slowly returning the circulation of hand, I headed home.

Leaf had gone back to camp to find Konata gone. He darted through the forest, mentally calling her name. Hoping the jewel would work. Konata! -
Then I remembered about the body. For every elf body delivered, the kind payed 3 gold pieces. I dragged it back to my home.

He sighed, then noticed red strands of hair in a tree.
He lept into the tree, and looked around. -
"Galifrait! Where have you been?" my father shouted. But when he noticed the trail of blood behind me, he got the body and placed it a wagon, which my mother rode to the king.
