Knew about her in 7th grade, really never formally met. We've talked a couple times, but they weren't meaningful conversations

She's friends with people that I'm I guess half-friends with. So we see each other a moderate enough amount of time. She's quiet.

Sorry. Kinda left for a minute. I'm not exactly sure how to approach that.

Ok say something such as, "We've known each other for awhile now, and I just want to say, when I first met you, it's like we connected on a deeper level than I have with anyone else, so I just had to tell you how I felt; I like you a lot." Something that has a little bit of a story, and is sweet. Don't just pass her in the hall and say "I like you." It's not as touching, and the less touching it is, the less likely she is to respond the way you want.
