Today quick summary we got one new person his name is Adam or Allen I honestly didn’t pay attention
2) the location I work at started a $5.00 section where I stocked fleece blankets and shoes. You can thank store gentrification for that. I just know that the customers are going to complain to us about it during the next three weeks as if we are the owners and set the prices -
3) manager told me to start working register and let the new hires do stock because if the bill amount was incorrect at the end of the night both her and I would get in trouble and I am the employee she trusts most because I’m literally the only one in my team left from pre pandemic

So that’s great. I don’t mind because everything is a dollar so it’s relatively easy but now that the stupid f---ing $5 section arrived I just know people will complain in line and I’ll have to distract them by complimenting something they’re wearing so they change the subject.

I also have to train them to stock because I really let the previous one only learn register and nothing else 🤡

Zumiez has been fine. Nothing new there just a lot more people and by people I mean teenagers in packs coming in and just unfolding stuff.

I don’t really care though because I don’t get paid enough to bother turning into a mall cop and asking them to return any s--- they’ve taken.

Oh right ghost girl the date from Wednesday still happened even though we saw each other Monday

I told her I couldn’t recommend any friends to her because they were all into friends with benefits type of relationships and I wasn’t sure if that’s what she wanted and she said no then she explained to me that she was only interested in finding a boyfriend because she wanted to have him be an accessory and I was like hold up what does that mean

And she explained to me that she wanted a boyfriend that was taller than her and that would basically be a human dress up doll like ken.

It sounds dehumanizing but I mean it makes sense because at 20 she’s basically Barbie? She has a car and a business and a house band spends a grand or more at zumiez of all places because her parents have money and she has no siblings and college never appealed to her?

Like I said she kind of makes me anxious. Like I know she’s a real person and she exists and isn’t a serial killer or a ghost but she has no warmth or energy to her and her eyes are still empty. Some of the things she says are really too the point with no emotion too.

And I get she’s not neuro typical but I honestly think she sees people as not real people

If you guys think I’m bad at remembering I’m not the only person with problems around me ghost girl is worse but I’m also anxious about her because she has no filter and talks too much and lives alone and she should not say that people are evil

I’m awake because I have to go pick up cat girl from her girlfriend’s house or maybe it’s just a fwb type of thing j don’t know we don’t talk about her personal romantic life everything else yes . Just waiting for the text
