what I need is to get bullied until I take my meds every day

I was there for two weeks the second time I went to the hospital. Over those two weeks, they were too understaffed to let us go outside even once. I used to stare out the windows and think about the wind, sunlight soaking into my skin, the scent of leaves on the air..
Two weeks isn't that long to be in the hospital. A lot of kids I knew had been in there much longer. But it made me appreciate the outdoors even more. Now every time I go outside, even just to drink my coffee on the porch, I breathe that fresh air deeply in case it's the last time. I don't want to take that freedom for granted ever again. -
But it's so chilly out. I wish it were warmer so I could sit out there longer, or at least not as windy.
