Yeah, And I have been known to make to many characters and then have no where to put them.

I just love making characters.

I only make a character if I need to use them for something

For me, the color of their clothes, hair, eyes, and design, palette and their style is a big deal.

So is it a problem of having too many side characters?

Yep, I just have to much fun making them and have no where to use them in the story.

Instead of making new ones reuse other side characters in the story.
