So when I was like five a ladybug firework landed on my shoulder, then it rolled into my lap, I was terrified I was gonna burn ta death
-
Well I don't go near fireworks. Phonophobia.
-
When I was seven we went to our neighbor's house to set off fireworks. Our neighbor's fireworks were all set together on a table.
My neighbor friend's dad trusted my friends to light one of the fireworks.
So he lit on ON THE TABLE.
The table flipped towards us and all the fireworks shot towards us
Somehow none of us got hit. -
A firework shot off and exploded right next to me, deafening me in one ear for a while and showering me with sparks. Needless to say I was a little traumatized.
-
Ine time one of the sparks fell on my sister's head. She screamed

bro so when i was a lil spoon, we went to the park for the fourth of july but never got actual fireworks, seeing other people's was always free. so lil spoon is running around, just playing, no one said anything to me. there was a lit firework right next to me. it was like a fountain, as in it didn't go high, and it encased me. sounds fun, but for a small spoon it was scary. i actually got burned in a few places from it, but it was more traumatic than physically scarring

I once lit an industrial grade firework in my grandfather's backyard, at my family's urging. The last shell ended up shooting at the picnic bench at which my family was seated after it fell over
-
Brother held a lit roman candle backwards. Nuff said
-
I had no idea y'all had firework mishaps too :0
-
I just have fire in general problems.
-
when i was little i there were people setting off thier own fireworks near me, and one went off and i started cry, i also have a fear of sparklers...
-
We shot it near our apartment.
Note that in California, I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to shoot fireworks here.
So my dad shoots it and IT NEARLY HITS THE PORCH ROOF WHICH SCARES THE SH1T OUTTA ME.
So yeah. -
oh actually i have another one from last 4th. we we're celebrating it with a friend and his family. i was teaching a little girl how to use different fireworks (with her mom's permission) since everyone else was too busy. we eventually got to roman candles, and i was showing her how to hold & aim it, and helped her keep the aim away from people and stuff, and it was pretty fun. until she accidentally shot at the church across the street. i quick aimed it higher up for her, making sure she was gripping it hard & not letting it droop. i let it droop, and 1 shot went towards the street. i quickly raised it up, but it turned out that i almost hit two cops who were on motorcycles, my candle died about when they stopped. they were cool about it, but i don't think that was anyone's fault tbh
