I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE
It's weird like I always have to have everything shut and closed -
I put kinda because I have to leave my bedroom door open for cats to go in and out, but I close everything else. My closet, any drawers other people left open, etc. it scares me when they aren't closed,,,

That's why I put most of.
I can handle the toaster oven door, the cupboard that the toaster oven is in, bathroom doors, and the front door (as long as it's nice weather, but it either has to be all the way open or all the way shut. And even when they're open I'm always aware that they're open.
It really stressed me out when my parents made me always have my bedroom door open except at night. -

So, sometimes I shower with my glasses on. My vision is really bad, so when I don't it's a guessing game of colors and bottles 😅

As for dishes, I just grab whatever unless we have company over, then all of the plates, bowls and cups come from a specific set.
Everything is closed at my house, minus my bedroom door at night. -
I keep my glasses on sometimes! I'm extremely blind, and I hate not being able to see. Ofc I take it off while washing my hair, though

i’m one of those a--holes who despite being blind doesn’t put their freaking glasses on LMAOO. so i don’t take them into the shower i hardly take them with me at all LOL
i’m open about my mental health: bipolar and ptsd sksksk
the way i grew up, everyone has their own respective plates and bowls for certain foods based entirely on “ooo i like that plate i shall eat my pasta in it” or whatever. it’s not a necessity, just a form of some weirdos clinging to the nice small things in life.
i am so paranoid and tell myself that copious creates will come out the crevices if i leave anything open,, so yeah i gotta shut everything 💀 -

I have a cat that meows a lot, so it feels really good to talk to him because he meows in response. 😂 I feel like he understands me.
