Some background info-
Last year, I didn’t do well in science. My average was a B-, and I go to a private school. My grades in all my other subjects last year were super good, all A’s.
I thought this year for science might be different, and I thought it was just my teacher last year that got me to that grade. Just a few hours ago, I took the science test. 60/90 points. Some of them were just typos, so she’s giving me points back. The other 10 points is a small paragraph to write. So, I’m not super hopeless.
But I studied, so hard. And I did it with my mom too. My teacher made a Quizlet for us to study, and she said we didn’t have to study our notes and the Quizlet’s had all we needed for the test.
I really wasn’t prepared, I didn’t know what to expect or what would be on the test. Funny thing is, I did really well on all the practice tests on Quizlet, I did them until I got %100’s, and my lowest grade on the practice tests were 80’s.
How’d I screw up so badly? I wanna prepare my mom, because she knows I studied hard every night. She even studied with me. My parents’ll be so angry if I don’t tell them now. I really want to cry, because I came in confident about the test and left class almost in tears. I might ask them if I can get a tutor, because obviously I’m not doing something right -
And don’t tell me that a B- is good, because it isn’t. The only reason it’s a B is because my homework and quiz grades were 90-100’s. But my test grades didn’t match up, and they were 75-85.
That’s really bad for me. My parents have really high expectations for me, and I wish I could meet them. -
bby its ok if u get a bf u wont need school x
-
Don't worry, Cham. A B is still a pretty good score, and now that you know what to do, I'm sure you'll get an A next time.
-
It isn’t a good grade, period. And I don’t know what to do, I never do for science.
It’s so confusing, and no matter how hard I try- I can’t do well -
sugar_baby- That’s absolutely stupid. I refuse to be ‘average’. My parents want me to be able to do things for myself, and my siblings are all doing a lot better than me. My parents aren’t average, so i won’t be.

trust me just get a bf and marry him then all your problems will be ova x

That's happened to me sometimes too.
Keep in mind I've always been good at tests, so my advice may not be as helpful.
Depending on how long you usually take your tests and maybe your teacher, you may be able to ask for a brain break while you're taking it. The brain con work on something for twenty minutes and then it doesn't work as efficiently. Taking like a five minute break from your work can reset your brain, and you can return to your work fresh, and you'll answer the questions better and may even go back and fix some. -
do u have a bf dragonsfire?
-
And I agree with you on the B thing. I've always been straight As so to me a B is a bad grade.
-
Yeah ^
Just try a different strategy, and I know you'll do well. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's not a "no", but more of a "not yet". And that not yet isn't too far away. -
No I don't have one and I don't see the relevance to Chams problem
-
Thanks y’all
I’m just gonna straight up tell my parents that I need help in science -
yeah and maybe u should try dating before u get old x
-
Okay sugar_baby you should probably stop annoying and bothering people.
