Yeah, it felt like that when my dad's cat, who was older than me, disappeared right before we were supposed to move :(
Never found heror her body
We put up so many signs, but nobody called :( -
my snakes, no feet, died a few years ago, he was ten or eleven years old.
my other snake, lieutenant dan, is still alive, but my dad’s friend has him. i believe he’s about seventeen years old. -

We honestly don't even know how he died. My dad found him in the morning after he hadn't come out of his den for two days just dead. On the day he was supposed to be taken to the vet, too, because he was developing these weird bubbles under his skin.
I was holding him maybe two weeks before he died and one of the bubbles...ruptured...and spewed out a watery-bloody mixture all over my hand. We think he'd gotten an infection from his bedding :( -
