The animals were fed and groomed. I crawled into my small hay bed and fell into a sleep in the stable, so the horses would wake me up around 5
-
Husky snored softly, and was startled as Nina walked in, throwing him the wig.
Of course, he got ready, and lept in the tank.
Nina smirked, and got everything ready, as Izima unlocked the tent, and placed the sign.
'Mermaid show' is all it said, in ocean blue. -
By the time the rooster called out and I noticed the horse hadn't woken me up, it was late. Leaving a note for my aunt, I ran to the circus tent and begged for a ticket the ticket table, spilling out pieces of money from my pocket frantically. I payed a coin extra so they would give me one of the last tickets. It was set for noon, perfect, I wasn't doing anything then.
-
Husky yawned as another group came in. He flicked his hair behind his ears, and batted his naturally girly eyes.(*snickers*)
His tail fin sparkled, and he threw a pearl into the crowd.
A young girl caught it, and smiled, sapphire blue eyes wide in happiness. -
Time past, and I was eager for noon to come and watch the mermaid. I giggity with excitement, careful, not to burst in happiness.
-
passed*
-
Husky watched the girl come up to the tank while Nina was busy helping put out a fire.
The girl put her hand to the glass, and in return he put his hand to it.
The girl seemed extremely curious, and most likely noticed the look in his eyes, for she went out with the others, blueish green pearl clutched in her fingers. -
After hours of torment, it finally came. Not to be late, I raced out of the house 10 to 12. Finding my seat in the quickly filling room, I watched the background action of the stage.
-
Husky sighed, hand on his cheek and elbow on other palm as Nina told the 'story' again.
Most the people in the crowd avoided his eyes.
He, tiredly, spun, and threw out another pearl. -
The mermaid came out. Wait a second, that wasn't a mermaid. From years of spotting infections on animals I could see that the blue hair of the 'mermaid' was slightly peeling off, but not enough to notice for a normal eye. Underneath, was a MERMAN. I watched closely, and almost missed the pearl flying in the direction of the audience. At the last second before it hit the woman's beside me face, I grabbed it, taking it.
-
Nina ran out, helping the stupid fireeater again.
A couple kids came close to the tank, and Husky stared at them, liquid blue eyes expressionless. -
The sight was breattaking though. The merman swam so gracefully into the water, he was for sure a real merman, not an actor.
-
Husky blinked as a kid started banging on the tank.
Husky looked toward the tent flap, and saw Nina was still helping.
The glass cracked, and Husky stared as the kid continued. -
Some immature child though, was banging on the delicate glass tank, which was about to burs open and flood the front rows.
-
Husky swam up, and leaned over the tank, grabbing the kids arm.
He glared, and the kid walked back to his seat.
