Of course, being a blacksmith would never be enough to feed our family. Barely anyone has anything to pay with, and the Kings servants just come and take what they want, so we run a farm as well. Like most peasants do.

I watched as a girl ran toward me, flailing her arms like crazy. "Coren fell in the water!"
I blinked, and followed her as she ran off, and we soon came to a cliff.
I blinked and peeked over the edge, to see nothing but water.
As I was about to dive in to take a closer look, a felt something hit my head, then I blacked out, falling into the water. -
Hat has dinner.
We payed in crops and eat at lot from it, but whatever we could spare went to the elves. They were fighting for us, they need food. -
With guards everywhere I turned, I had to be extra careful when shopping. Last week I was only able to snag some fruit before I was caught.

Of course, no one knew about this. Dad and I had our own language of communication so I would bring the right amount and the right food to the elves without anyone getting suspicious.
"Aden, could you deliver some butter too Ma'am Marrlenti?" That meant 200g of fresh green sorrel.
"Yes father." I whispered, bowing my head. -
I woke up as soon as I hit the waters, and started swimming.
I reached the beach, and panted as I lay on the warm sand on the hidden cove. -
Thankfully I finished my shopping in peace. Though I did get some looks from a guard on the way back home.

I took a small basket and put a small packet of sorrel inside along with a small stick of butter as my personal treat. I carried it outside, locking the door to my father's workshop and walked in the direction of the caves.

"Ugh...just my luck..."I said, coughing. I, oddly enough, only had a cut on my forehead, and no blood on the back of my head.
Though my forehead was bleeding into my eyes, and It stung.
I crawled all the way onto the sand, and lay down, coughing more. -
I placed my hat on its hook, and my food on the table. "I should be good for a while."

Careful not cause any noise or suspicion, a tiptoed across the forest floor, and when I came to the dark, red wood door in the caves I knocked twice, kicked it, scratched the handle, and knocked 6 more times. It was my friend's door.
