Somebody on deviantart completely copied and didn’t credit something of mine.
It wasn’t exactly copying but it was a concept that I used and she just slapped the darn thing into her own art. -
I can’t phrase this stupid thing
I used a common concept and turned it into something that I haven’t seen anyone use before and she straight up took it without adding or getting rid of anything -
Does that count as copyright
Because if it does I bet I can find a way to get her sued or something for you, if you want me to :)

DA is an official art website. I think you can report the person and get them in trouble.
Only the owner of copyright in a work has the right to prepare, or to authorize someone else to create, a new version of that work. Accordingly, you cannot claim copyright to another's work, no matter how much you change it, unless you have the owner's consent.
I think you should send that person a note on DA totally not threatening to get them like banned from DA or something for copyright.
Hey someone copied a really close friend of mine on there and I got them banned. And I found a hacker and got that person banned. So if you need help. Getting someone banned. I can get them banned for you. -
If you used someone else's copyrighted material and commercially profited from that use, you may have to pay him monetary damages, and court may prohibit you from further using his material without his consent. A federal judge may also impound your material and order you to immediately destroy it.
All original works found in the DeviantArt galleries are the copyrighted property of the submitting artist. If you want to use a work, you will need to ask permission from the artist, who is free to set whatever terms and conditions they wish. -
I don’t think I can do that to her. Like I seriously can’t, she didn’t steal but she took that unique thing to my art and didn’t change a thing
