Yeah, she’s old and sassy. And not really. She never really liked to play with toys, she just liked to take them and guard them, but she would never chew them. But she loved running and chasing my other dogs. However, when she was playing with my one dog (who just turned 1, so he’s young and got some energy) in the backyard just running around (this was a couple weeks ago), she had a hard fall and has been limping since then. We knew that her ACL in both her back legs were starting to wear down so we started walking her less to help, but she completely blew her legs on that fall and I think she probably tore one of them. She can’t have surgery though because of her age and it’s a greater risk, so she’s wearing braces, which seem to be helping. But apparently she doesn’t try to play with my other dog since that fall and has mostly just been sleeping and demanding car rides

Yeah it is. But she’s kind of stubborn, so she just kept pushing herself to her limit. And I think now it just finally hit her that she can’t do all the things she used to be able to do. She’s suppose to go to the vet sometime soon, so hopefully they’ll give her something to help. She’s still eating the same and everything and no one has told me about her crying in pain or anything (I’m currently not at home and won’t be there till middle of October, so I won’t actually know anything/see for myself until I get back)

She was probably hunting crickets, which is why she’s not looking at the camera. She loved pouncing on the crickets in the backyard
and when she got older, she totally killed a bunch of shrews, some baby birds, and a couple baby bunnies too using that same technique -
My old dog had a fancy for flies.

Oh yeah, I’ve had a few dogs that go for the flies. I think that’s a common thing that they do
