Sakura listened intently, and Kayama just bowed her head, as if being scolded by her a parent.
Ichigo went on "And on that day, she met another girl. It was just a plain minstrel girl, her firey red hair loose and beautiful, and her amber green eyes like peridot. She sung in the square, and Kayama had stood there, watching her, for well over two hours. As the sunset, she knew she needed to get home. She raced off, after leaving a genorous tip for the minstrel girl. A letter inviting her to the castle of the Sky."
Sakura's eyes lit up, and Kayama smiled faintly, remembering. -
"Have you been to the battleland?" The man asked, looking stern. Kylee paused for a sec, but the man interjected, "If you don't tell the truth we will have to report you to our higher ups."
Sighing she gave up and nodded slightly. -
Ichigo continued, smirking "But of course, as always, someone else wanted the Princess's heart. A man by the name of Dul, he was a smart, handsome warrior, and thought he deserved to be Prince. But of course, Kayama had no interest in him. No matter what he tried. When he heard that Kayama had made the fire haired minstrel her royal minstrel, he threw a fit, that killed two men and one horse. he was thrown in the dungeon, but somehow managed to escape. The King ordered the two girls to be heavily guarded in case Dul returned.."
"What was the name of the fire lady again?"Sakura asked.
"Kisek"Kayama answered, then looked back down, blushing. -
The man continued on after writing a couple notes down. "Have you ever encountered one of the enemy?" Kylee's eyes darkened, and she nodded. "A sneaky b------," she mumbled.
"What did the enemy look like?" "Dark hair and beard, but extremely pale skin. And his eyes looked red," she explained, with no trouble. The man was now writing a lot of notes. "Was he tall or short?" "Very tall, almost impossibly human height tall. And his fist was more than my two fists but together." -
Ichigo yawned, and sat down on the bench. They were at the park.
"My throat is too sore to tell the rest"Ichigo lied.
Kayama's eyes darkened. Her story was'nt appropriet for kids of any age.
Kayama sat beside Ichigo, as Sakura ran off with the book, intent on reading out her minstrel. -
The man seemed a bit uncomfortable, but he pressed on. "Do you think he really could have been-" "Hafuyo? I do, actually. Except for one tiny detail." She said, lowering her voice. "He didn't have the scar."
That detail was important yet troublesome. Hafuyo was a fallen king who wanted his title back, and on the first day he proclaimed battle on the now peaceful and modern region of Kiituro, he was struck by a lightning bolt only Kami-sama could make that left a huge scar upon his face. That was his trademark. Perhaps in an attempt to make himself more hidden, he has found a way to cover it up. That was Kylee's theory. -
Ichigo yawned again, then blinked as Kayama started humming..
"This fire bird here..could'nt be free..longing, to escape, these cold, silver bars.."She whispered.
Ichigo leaned her head on her shoulder, and Kayama smiled slightly, and continued.
"This lavender dove..could'nt find love...she, was a curse, to all..."Kayama sang. -
But the stealth man had a different theory. He spoke in Japanese thinking Kylee wouldn't understand though she secretly could, and she heard him say, "It could have been the water the fountain of youth."
"Impossible," she replied, catching them off guard. "It wouldn't have been able to heal him, not without a special mixture of certain herbs from all across the world. He's been secluded in the mountains for years."
"We don't need you to tell us what we already know, miss." The man said and opened that car door. "Now if you'd excuse us, your work here is no longer needed." She waspushedlead out and the van quickly disappeared from sight -
Aya
Sakura came back, squealing.
A woman of about 20 followed her, and it was easy to tell who she was, if you read the stories. Aya, the woman raised with wildcats, the thief of the night, lady robin hood.
Aya glared at them all, and her eyes lingered long on Kayama before she closed them, and said "It seems another has succeeded. Congrats, yada yada, now send me back."She said, sitting down on the ground.
Sakura seemed entranced, she'd actually brought a character out from between the pages! -
