I'm a little upset because I forgot to ask for the Real ID or whatever, and my dad got mad at me for it. But I can go back and get it some other year or smth -
is a normal license not a real ID?

Real ID is a new government thing where you get a special star on your license that indicates you're a verified US citizen. It replaces a passport. Really f---ing weird and I forgot it even exists tbh

I should clarify that statement: It replaces a password for US travel but not domestic travel

Yeah.. it'll cost me to get it since I didn't get it while I was there :( but I was so stressed and the lady didn't ask if I wanted it or not, even though I had everything I needed for it. -
