Naiomi heard the soft crunch of the crisp leaves on the forest floor. Someone was coming. She quickly hid behind the tree trunk that came up through the middle of her tree house and peered around it. It was the girl from the village. She quickly and agily climbed the tree and transformed, waiting until she passed to take off. She wanted to get to know this girl. There was something about her that gave off this sense of understanding and respect. -

Wolves, crickets, and the occasional flap of wings. The same musical symphony heard each night, played to a tune always changing. Racheal loved it.

Naiomi followed the girl, refraining from any involuntary screeches. She remained a few hundred feet behind the girl, beating her wings as little as possible, relying on the wind to help her glide through the sky. She started to screech, but caught herself. Amidst the shock of it all, she stopped beating her wings and plummeted to the ground a few feet behind the girl, still in her eagle form. She let out a squawk of protest but then let her left wing fall to the ground softly, unlike her right wing which was most likely crushed on the impact.

Ichigo sat beside a fountain in a town squarish place.
The water sparkled as she yawned, eyes shut. -
Naiomi felt her body shiver. No.. no... she was supposed to be able to control this! She mustered up all of her strength to stay in her eagle form. She opened her eyes and looked at the girl. Only she didn't have bird eyes. Her dark brown human eyes, stared back at the girl.

"You, okay?..." she asked, walking over to her.

Ichigo yawned again, standing up and stretching.
She walked into the forest, eyes bright. -
Naiomi's instinct was to fly away. She struggled, and managed to stand up on her two scrawny feet. She shook her wings out but fell over in pain. She shuddered and transformed into her human form against her will. She was too weak to fight.

Hurridly, Racheal raced back to camp. She woke up Rain, and tugged on her sleeve until she agreed to go see what was wrong.

Ichigo noticed then some people.
She twisted herself up into the tree, and watched.
