About people who were gifted with the anima, or spirits I guess, of animals. They normally get their anima when in trouble. The anima helps them survive

That night still rolled through her mind. Every time she thought about it, she cried. Never seeing Jason again was probably the hardest thing she'd ever done. He was the only person who understood her, and she repaid him by hiding away. -
