I accidentally left my door open when I went to the kitchen and when I came back I was scared that Noodles (my ferret) had run out
so I started squeaking one of her squeaky toys, which usually makes her come out of her hiding spots
she wasn't responding and I started to panic, thinking she may have escaped and lodged herself in the recliner or some other dangerous space
but then I remembered the last place I saw her was when she was burrowing in my quilt so I went and gently started patting it to see if she was in there
and she was cuddled up so sweetly and cozily. that's why she wasn't responding 😠-

she's sleeping or about to sleep in all those photos bc it's about the only time I can get her to stay still ðŸ˜
she is the sweetest though
we were gone for all of the evening and when I picked her up and held her after getting back, she immediately started licking my face (that's how they show affection, by kissing your face and hands)

Oh, what a world!
When I'm away from my dog for awhile, she'll suddenly become this guard dog (imagine seeing a miniature poodle barking at suspicious leaves), and will not leave my side. -
luckily ferrets tend not to bark unless they're being hurt
