Because I cannot physically respond to everything you have said, I will be quoting the things that stuck out to me.
I will try to keep everything blunt, because you've ignored me a few times today and refused a civil discussion in the recent past... yet I can see you are capable of being civil with others. I am hopeful that you will listen to these things and actually respond to them without being "emotionally charged" or whatever you'd like to call it. -
I'm not DOING THIS to simply harm others
This implies that the intent to harm others is still very much there. It's just not your only intention.
When I made that thread copying that compliment thread, Dark locked it and stated that it's "inflammatory," no matter what substance is behind it.
As I explained to others, I locked it because allowing that type of content gives the idea that insults are okay. You may have intended it as a joke, but there are users who will see it as something serious and they will think it is OK to genuinely insult others. I wanted to stop that from happening. I was told I did the right thing, so I choose to keep it locked despite being fully aware it was satire.
I've offered ideas to make this site a bit more interesting.
Good ideas and occasional good behavior towards specific users does not excuse toxic, negative behavior.
They probably already spoken to GTQ Guy about banning me or whatever.
GTQ Guy does not speak to us. That is why we asked for community opinions. Currently, the mod base is compromised of me, Road, Seth, and Heph. We have no other back up or contact with anyone else. -
And I would like to do that, but it simply won't happen. People on here genuinely don't listen, care, or understand a lot of things that much, which contributes to why I already feel alienated on this site.
Feeling alienated does not give you a right to attack anybody. Like I stressed in my TBH, you don't gain anything by lashing out at others because you had a bad experience yourself. While I understand it's unrealistic for everyone to always be happy or even just nice, I do think that you have a terrible habit of repeatedly being more aggressive and you always attempt to justify it.
Just because I say a few mean things about a moderator doesn't signal my entire feelings about them, it's just a defense lmao
I find it difficult to believe you on this, because you seem to make your whole existence lashing out at us. We were literally on good terms a few weeks ago. I don't know why that suddenly changed, apart from the gore incident which I already apologized for. But you've always had this habit of being rude to us simply because we are moderators, with no regards for us being.. People. Just like you.
Nothing could be harassment since I never went into their own personal threads and actively provoked them at all.
You've made threads directed at us. And you've commented on threads with posts directed at/about us. All of which were in a negative connotation intended to spark anger. Harassment, by definition, is "aggressive pressure or intimidation". You're pressuring us into negative feelings because you feel negatively against us. Harassment doesn't have to be direct. -
Most of the time just eccentric, innocuous, avoidant, until I become extremely, extremely bored, and that's when I get the idea to goof around. It's not that deep or serious.
If it's not that deep nor serious, then why do you make it a point to do this every single day? Why do you never quit? Are you just always that bored? And again, I stress: boredom does not give you a right to break the rules, attack us, or be rude to people in general. -
I'm finished for now. If you choose to ignore this, then do not blame me for not trying to understand you or make a connection. Because I have tried multiple times now, and this is my final attempt.

1. Misinterpreting my use of language. I used "simply" to parallel the idea that I was only doing it solely to piss people off.
2. And how is that exactly any of our responsibility to remind people that it's a joke? Just use your brain. It's only Jacob, cuteboy/girl, whatever the f--- their alts are who only provoke or egg on these threads lmfaoooo
For someone who tries to pander to the newbs all the time, you surely say a lot of things that insult their intelligence and imply that they aren't mentally capable of sifting through what's for comical purposes and what's actually drama. It's sort of disturbing in a way, because you're holding hands for the people who clearly are too disabled, too retarded, or way too young to understand connotations; people who shouldn't be on this site in the first place since they're vulnerable.
Also that annoying "THINK OF THE CHILDREN' argument is getting on my f---ing nerves, because I thought this website had an age limit of 13??? We can debate all day about the development and categorization of adolescence, but GTQ also upholds an age limit with accessibility to the site for TEENAGERS. I would also like to add that GTQ shouldn't be liable for what is posted on this website when you consider the entire internet as a whole. The internet is free-range, and if a child wanted to search gore or inappropriate things, they have the freedom to, despite the morality behind it. GTQ or any website shouldn't function as a daycare or some "child-friendly" site. It's up to parents to control their children from seeking suggestive material in the first place.
3. Way too much of a moral appeal. Sort of reminds me of "do the ends justify the means"
Sounds basic and pretentious af, but every user is going to have less than desirous breaks of character.
4. GTQ Guy can lick my imaginary balls honestly. -
Also bad argument. Tons of people do tasks daily, and some of it isn't meant to involve prolonged or attentive care. I don't have dedication, all of my actions are entirely random and all of these "offenses" happen at different times. My activity is wonky as hell. Sometimes I'm on for like an hour or so and then leave for 3 hours, sometimes less than that, sometimes for 8 hours, and sometimes for most of the day. Depends if I want to post or not, idk man lmao
I never claimed I had a "right" to break rules. I just hate how in general moderators handle their power poorly, especially when it comes to me. -
And no, I don't have remorse. I just really don't.
-
1. My bad, then. It seemed like you meant it in a different way.
2. The problem here is that, if [we] don't make clarifications, then [we] get blamed if future problems arise. There is no winning when it comes to handling the users that are obviously too young to handle the website, or users that aren't quite at that level of maturity to handle themselves. You are right in the sense that it shouldn't be anyone's responsibility, but unfortunately, [we] have to be aware of what could happen and be on top of it. I'm not trying to insult anyone's intelligence, but if you take one look at the things some of these users say or how they react, I think you'd see that some do need hand holding. Which, I personally do not mind doing that. I want GTQ to be a positive experience for them. I want them to learn from their time here. But I will take it into consideration that not all jokes are malicious, and that there is no specific rule saying we must filter things for the younger base. In fact, I've been wondering whether or not we should even allow self-proclaimed children to be on here, but that's a topic for a different discussion. This website's age limit is actually 15, though it's been disregarded for several years.
3. Perhaps it is morally charged, but I just wanted to point it out anyway. I have agreed with you on many things, but that doesn't mean that I agree with everything you do. Just like how you have been nice to me before, but that doesn't mean you necessarily like me as a person.
4. I think I can safely speak for most of GTQ and say same lmao.
I am also constantly here and not here. So are most users. I'm not sure what point you were countering with this, though.
Why do you not just outright say that, then? Why do you intentionally make posts or threads that we have to delete and then make us out to be "corrupt"? I think it would be much easier for you to express your distaste in a more mature manner so that we can reflect on it, rather than having to guess what you mean when you break the rules or lash out.
May I ask why you expect all of us to have remorse if you don't? This has nothing to do with the situation at hand, I'm just curious. Several times you've said that I, along with others, "do not feel bad".. But if you don't, then why should we? -
Yeah ig
And I don't respect anyone else to?? I was only countering a point that you and Road made lol -
After seeing what others have had to say- specifically Mei- our goal is to be more upfront with things. I hope you will be more at ease.
But I think we also have a goal to continue to involve the community in important decisions.. I attempted to do this earlier in regards to "when do we delete posts involving the n-word?" The general user base actually did disagree with what we had originally considered doing. So I think that, while everyone expects us to make decisions on our own, we do try to ask others for their opinions. And I'm sure we will continue to ask, because with no active admin, the weight falls onto us. -
I am going to bed, but if you feel like something else needs to be addressed, feel free to continue this thread. I will try to respond as soon as I am able to.
-
OOOOOF LOL WAIT
I meant to say *expect, not respect -
Np, I figured that's what you meant.

Also I know it seems useless to point out but, why is anti-spamming a rule as well?
I thought a core and distinguishable function of this website tried to deal with that issue by have time limits between what posts you can make since spammers are more likely to be newbies or those who would be smart enough to make alts to constantly spam. The only flaw is that anyone could be an "annoying" spammer whether or not the user is an oldfag and newfag. This could prevent spam if there was a considerable and consistent time limit for ALL users, cut the promotion/progression of levels (Novice, Junior, Advanced, etc) all together, and the amount of threads you can only post at a time, which seemed to be ALREADY in place for a 24-hour time frame. Also, considering how transparent the context of spam is, everything on the internet could be considered as spam. Fast-paced, relentless streams of irrelevant (not purposeful in the long-term) garbage to fulfill a goal or desire. You could even claim that coming to a website with the same INTENTION that expresses in your posts can be as spam; spam is a collage of similar efforts and ideas, random
Spam is what makes the internet.
Spam is again only seen as a problem when it's dealt with as an inconvenience to others, for the "greater good" of some mediocre website on the internet, to maintain order that was never there in the first place. This entire website as a concept has some good elements, but the execution is bad.
