aethereliminaara- that sucks. it really, truly, sucks. i'm not a psychologist, or a therapist or anything, but i guess just remember that someone will always love you. and that they're not trying to hurt you, but i understand that sometimes it doesn't matter what people do or say, but their actions? sorry i rushed this, i'm getting ready to go on another 5 hour car ride, so I'll be back later

I hate help. Like, someone will start helping me and I hate it and tell them to stop. Someone will offer, I say no. I never ask for help either. I think in terms of battle, and to me it's like admitting defeat and surrendering. And I also hate feeling weak. So if someone offers or starts to help me, I feel like they don't think I can accomplish whatever I'm doing by myself. My parents don't like that I hate help and don't understand it, but I've explained it over and over to them why.

dragonsfire - I have this issue too, although it might not be as big as yours. I know it's tough, but accepting help when you need it is a good thing to do. There's strength in numbers, and sometimes it's better to accept help then to reject it.
