Murder on the Orient Express
I haven't started reading, but I got a whole bunch of information just from the book description thing.

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but my the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside.
I got
If it is a tycoon who is dead, then it could be a rival of his, or someone who’s suffered because of him, or both, or something like that. They’d probably have to be rich in order to be a passenger on “The luxurious train” if they weren’t one of the people working on the train.
They must have really wanted him dead in order to stab him a dozen times, that’s overkill.
If there’s no knife in the room, then it would seem like a murder, if there was a knife in his room, it would seem like suicide.
But if it’s a suicide, one maybe two stabs would suffice, he wouldn’t have stabbed himself 12 times
His door locked from the inside shows that he was hiding from someone.
Or perhaps the murderer locked the door when they killing the man, or when he was leaving.
The murderer would have to have access to a knife, which would be easily supplied from the dining car.
Also, the fact that it’s fuller than usual might be important, but who knows. -
And that all came out in like 5 mins tops
