I find I can't delve into these books like I can with other series I've read.
-
Why’s that
-
I'm hesitant to dive in because of all the death around each page turn. I'm used to dragons being scarce in stories, and their a force of death and power when it comes to battles. To imagine so many dying just hurts me. Especially a few I've grown a liking of. But I can't stop. I took a couple day break during book three, and all I could think about was what would happen next. Would the dragons I like die. It's a double edged sword of a story

I actually dreamt about WoF last night. Helped me think of a few more characters, but something like this hasn't happened since Paolini was writing the last book of the Inheritance cycle, and I was left thinking "what could happen next?"

And look at me still. It's been ten years since book four of that series was published, and I still will not spoil anything about the series. This is the frustrating part about being me, wanting to talk about a good series you read but afraid of spoiling something for those who haven't. There's a certain magic to reading something happen in a book series you love.

So nobody tell the sleep police but I couldn't sleep last night. Had a fairly emotional night of reading, in which I finished book three and four. Now I think I might end up crashing

Now have a Skywing character too

Goodnight GTQ
