it’s sad to say that what they’re saying is true. and I’m not going to amount to anything. -

I remember a poem I wrote in freshman year. I might post it so I can stop being all over mentally

My mind starts to wander, and my eyes close;
As another doubt starts to return again;
I sit there, doubts in mind, and ponder more;
I lay there, and the foam tears turned to rain.
Starting to yearn for that new affection;
Starting to want the lies to fade again;
I just sit there and want a connection;
A perfect connection, but I’m afraid.
But then, I remember that I have you;
I have my love and my light with me now;
I have the new love that I can cling to;
And I would love to be with you somehow.
Yet, you are the source of my happiness;
And the reason why I’m the happiest -
It’s so f---ing bad but I honestly relate to it months later
