I'm back.
That was a lot faster than I thought, but I paid full attention. I think this particular class we're taking is for me.
We're studying specifically the book of Job. In Job, we read about the man named Job. He was the wealthiest man in the world at that time. He had all you could ever imagine. One day, all of his riches and his family were struck with disasters that left Job poor, without his children, and all alone in pain.
Job went through a series of sorrowful days where he mourned for death. He only wished to die after being hit with sickness and depression. But, all through his many days of struggle, God provided Job the strength to live, and Job remained faithful to God, not turning his back on Him. For this, God rewards Job with even more than he had to begin with.
The struggle Job was put through was not because he had sinned and God hated Job, it was because Satan believed that Job would curse God and leave Him and God wanted to prove otherwise. God was proud of His servant Job, and He wanted to show Satan just how well a servant Job truly was.
So, when I go through struggles, as I am right now, and have been for years, I can be sure that it's because I am a good follower of God, or because He wants to get my attention.
Satan only chases those who belong to God. -

I hate having to go back in there because I was so forgetful.
