Metal Gear Solid (MGS) is a shooter game series originally inspired by real events such as the World Wars. The object of the game is mainly stealth, but now you can go all-out in battle, too. You use the soldier Solid Snake, and you take on various missions to stop the terrorists. On MGS 2, Raiden is playable. If you don't know much about this game, do a wiki search. That should tell you enough.
