I do remember he told everyone he was going to kill himself
so I reached out to him on Twitter and FB, and when he didn't answer I even messaged his dad on FB because I was so concerned
later he messaged me on Twitter straight-up admitting he was lying to make people feel bad about being mean to him and I was tiiiicked -
it’s rlly saddening when people lie about suicide to make others feel guilty or ashamed.

There was one time I was chatting with someone online and he had opened up to me about how depressed he was and I was comforting him then he told me he liked me and things got really complicated and then he was seriously threatening suicide and he said that if I didn't get with him he was actually gonna commit suicide and I was really scared because he was being really serious. I haven't talked to him in a year, and I have no idea how he is doing, but I was scared for my life (or I guess I should say his life) because I felt like it was my fault if he did. He sent me pictures of the scars he had on his wrists and stuff and when I told some of my friends they said he was probably joking but I was still really scared

Sometimes people use threats of suicide or self-harm to manipulate others. I'm glad you're out of that situation, Katniss. I'm really sorry that happened to you.
