i've got pink eye
but like, the good kind -
listen, i'm high, so don't mind me but.
so crazy how i've grown up with this place. i joined when i was 10 and i'm 20 now.
like i've grown so much as a person, and yet each new person i became always carried a piece of my identity as br0wnies with me -

like yeah. i just respawn into a new human -

I've been here mostly to think the same thing. It's been 12 years since I officially joined (and, GOD, 14? 15? since I started using the site for quizzes) I was 12 when I joined, the fact that we can't change our usernames allows a testament to that to stay up
I was a big Avatar fan then, and screw it, I got back into Avatar so I guess my username is cool again lol
But enough about me. I'm just surprised and glad to see how many names I still remember floating around on here. I know it sounds funny but I got a lot of memories with this place. Most of them bad. I swear to every god that's ever been conceived of that I do NOT make the same annoying jokes I used to make. At least not to that same extent, I can't even explain my behavior then. And I'm talking about myself again, frick-
but I relate on the "respawning" thing for sure -
oh man, is it good to see you again. i remember that one profile picture you had FOR FOREVER of that rainbow dragon with a blue background, i think it was. it's so refreshing to see a familiar face (username?) cause i swear sometimes i can't believe the place it was vs. now are the same website

Yeah from my perspective, keep in mind it's just me saying this, but it's both really different and really the same. Really different, because obviously a bunch of people came and went so it seems every couple years there's a whole new batch. Which is ultimately a good thing in my view but it does kind of feel like I can't relate to them. Most of them being like 14 (not judging because I was too) And of course they changed the layout of the site. Like I remember the first layout changes most notably the names of each subforum but I mean it LOOKS different now, like it's more spread out and they added the little rainbow triangles and such. Should add a dark mode.
Some things are the same though, like at the end of the day it's always just been a casual chat spot and each "batch" seems to form a miniature family of sorts. I still see the same "how much do you know about GTQ users?" posts for instance. -
