Still, What happened was some followers of jesus are the ones that spread his form of it calling it christianity because of a greek word I can't remember but was something like christis.ANywho, people began LOVING it because there was no caste system, god was nice, and you were pretty much guaranteed to go to heaven.Well, during that time the romans at first were cool with people having other religions, but when they heard the rumors of how powerful jesus was, they feared he'd overthrow the roman empire. so they had him killed.

That's not completely true.
Jesus told us that the old ways are gone, because he was the fulfillment of those laws. They were pointing ahead to Christ, and since Christ had come and fulfilled those laws, there's no need for them.
You need to believe that you were saved, but the Holy Spirit gives you that faith. You do absolutely nothing.
The Pharisees, and all those people put Jesus to death because they didn't want the Roman government against them. "You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish." (John 11:50). I don't remember why the Romans would've been against them, but I don't think it was because of Jesus' great power.
This would've been longer, but since this isn't the Garden, I didn't make it any longer. -

THE BIBLE SAYS IT IS A SIN TO BE GAY BUT JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE GAY DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARENT A CHRISTIAN OR ARE GOING TO HELL JUST LIKE IF YOU LIE (which is a sin) OR CHEAT ON YOUR SPOUSE (which is also a sin) IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN OR GOING TO HELL
And anyone in my "strict" southern baptist church would agree with me.

Exactly. It's not a Christian lifestyle to be gay. But when people tell me that they are going to hell just cause they are gay, that's what I tell them.
