Hello!
-
This is giving me anxiety
-
do you still want advise? I can't tell if the " not a good idea" post was about that or not
-
Yes, I am always open for advice ☺
-
Ok I have three things. I don't know if you're already doing any of them but if not I can highly recommend.
First don't have seconds. If you absolutely feel like you can't say no to seconds you should try to wait like 20 min instead of outright saying no. Your stomach takes a bit to realize it's had enough food so by the time the 20 min is done you likely won't be so hungry.
Secondly use smaller dishes. Using smaller plates and bowls helps by tricking your brain into thinking you're eating more than you actually are. Plus it helps with the "I need to fill my plate" mentality.
Lastly cut out caloric beverages. The calories in stuff like sodas and juice really add up. Try to switch to water and other calorie free drinks such as diet sodas. Won't be fun at first but you can get used to it surprisingly quickly.
Everyone is different so i can't guarantee these will work for you. I can just recommend based on my own experience. I was never severely overweight but I did lose around 40 pounds with the methods I listed. I hope this helps -
And excersise is very important for health but does little for weight unless you're training like a pro athlete
-
Okay! I will definitely start doing those! I already drink water, but I definitely need to cut back on my food intake. ☺
-
Also maybe making healthier substitutes for snacks you like. For example, one of my teachers is absolutely obsessed with salt and vinegar pringles, and she's started doing salt and vinegar flavored almonds instead.

: )

That does seem like a good idea!
Thank you guys! ❤ -
Also, I don't know if you do or not, but make sure you eat breakfast in the morning, even if it's just a little bit.
-
I usually don't, but I'll try to incorporate breakfast into my daily routine!
-
Yeah, my mom told me that if you don't eat breakfast your body starts going into starvation mode, and so it turns everything into fat. I'm sure there's other reasons, but I haven't done the research.
