katniss, please answer.

Sorry Dragon, I just checked the post. I'm Baptist. How about you?
-
And honestly, I would definitely agree, a lot of people say they are a Christian but I don't know like when I see them around the hallways they totally act like the opposite of a Christian, and it disappoints me a little bit.
-
I'm Lutheran. And not the kind that's not even Christian. The E . . . I think there's a C, You know what I mean.
-
I go to a Lutheran school, but yeah, I deal with that too. It's mostly verbal bullying.
-
Cool! Yeah, I go to a public school, and honestly I don't know what it would be like to go to a school like that where everyone has the same religion as me. Sounds interesting. But the bullying isn't too bad. As far as I know, anyway. I mean, I was bullied during the beginning of the year in my science class, I finally told the teacher and that helped a lot. But yeah.
-
But there are all of these high schoolers who are swearing and cussing and on my bus there are a lot that vape and I'm just like, "If you're not even 21 or 18 or whatever the law is how are you even getting that stuff? And do you know how bad it is for You?"
-
See, the problem in my school is that there are a bunch of snotty rich kids that are used to getting their way, and I'm not giving it to them.
-
I'm also made fun of because I don't get to do a whole bunch of things they do, because I'm not rich. And to teachers play favorites, of which I am not one of.
-
I can relate, my family is not as well off in terms of money when you compare my family to lots of the other people's families at my school. I also have super strict parents, so I'm made fun of for that because my parents don't let me wear things like ripped jeans and they don't let me go to sleepovers. And on top of that when the clothes you wear aren't name brand from the mall you kind of feel a little insecure because it's like almost everyone is able to afford a pair of $60 sneakers.
-
Exactly! Why can't you just settle for some $15 shoes? I'm the one that has three pairs of shoes compared to a girl who has enough shoes to match every outfit.
-
And then there's the whole trying to control your every move.
-
Yup. It's annoying. Especially when you're 15 and you know that you are capable of making your own decision and that you know right from wrong. I feel like my parents should let me figure out for myself what's right and wrong, and let me suffer through consequences if I make the wrong choice, rather than limiting me to do only certain things.
-
I'm 13, but I feel the same. way. You see, I'm super mature for my age, and then my parents are making all thse decisions forme. Then I come out with an idea and they end up going with that instead. Like, why do they even bother?
-
Sometimes, parents just get on my nerves. But they are still my family, and I still love them, but they still get on my nerves!
