Maybe we could switch roles. That'd be great for my parents...but, maybe not for me. I love being the geek. I even look like one.

No, it's not that. It's the fact that I try to help everyone, and I often succeed, but I can't help myself. It's as bad as your predicament!

We're in the same boat, then, aren't we? Maybe think of someone you know who's in a similar situation as you, and what you told them to help, then follow the advice you gave them.
