Younger users don't understand social boundaries. They also feel compelled to lie about their financial and social status, as they think people will like them or show them respect if they flaunt wealth and "hundreds of friends." Lots of people have this phase.

I've never had that phase so I don't understand it. That's how it is for me. If I've never been through it, I don't understand it.

Ah, that's okay. It's more common in children that are exposed prematurely to the internet, especially forums like this where there are little rules.
