My reading/writing teacher gave me a book today that I was actually going to buy at the bookstore awhile ago, but then I saw other books that I'd been wanting for a long time, so I got those instead. So I got it for free today.

I also got a graduation present from my other teacher. In it was a little congrats grad sign thing that will be useful for whacking my sister with, a couple popsicles, a pack of water balloons, which will also be used against my sister, a little bottle of bubbles that has one of those graduation hats as the cap, and a few DQ Blizzards coupons.
I'll probably just give the bubbles to my sister
The sign and water balloons will be used for attacking said sister
I'll eat the popsicles
And we'll have to go to DQ some time.
So I have it all planned out. -
I just hear the TV have a Russian guy say, "Why did you take my tooth? You are going to die."

Jordan got there first. He grabbed for the coatrack that stood by the door, ripped the coats off it, and flung the door wide, the rack held above his head like a javelin.
On the other side of the door was Jace. He blinked. "Is that a coatrack?"
Jordan slammed the coatrack down on the ground and sighed. "If you'd been a vampire, this would have been a lot more useful."
"Yes," said Jace. "Or, you know, just someone with a lot of coats." -
Why do I get the feeling in this book that all the Downworlders are banding together against the Shadowhunters?

"Magnus and Camille are both really old," said Jace. "I suppose it's not that odd that they know each other."
Yes, they did know each other. Probably more than you're thinking. -
"What's all this about yanking poor Magnus and Alec back from their vacation?" Isabelle demanded. "They have opera tickets!"
Who knew that an opera (although I haven't been to one) was more important than a person killing Shadowhunters and humans? -
"Well, that certainly explains why you haven't called me back once. And the last time I saw you, you ran away without telling me why. It's like dating a ghost."
Jace's mouth quirked up slightly at the side. "Not exactly. Isabelle actually dated a ghost. She could tell you-"
"No," Clary said. "It was a metaphor."
I though it was a simile. -
