I hate how I'm starting to not be able to read under my reading level. It's like my brain can't process the simplicity of it.

I'm not sure what my reading level is. I think my mom said I'm college level. She wants me to start reading Shakespeare, but I don't think I'm ready for that.

Shakespeare is intense, but even adults have a hard time comprehending it. I usually have to read a "modern" version in addition to the regular version to understand what's going on.

Parents with honors students have a high, unrealistic expectation lol. Because you've conquered difficult reading, they think you just have to keep reading difficult stuff. But you aren't "dumb" if you don't read advanced stuff. It's ridiculous
