I remember my 1st and 2nd grade teacher. The only thing I didn't understand was how she graded one of my papers.

Music is mathematical.

fractions, decibels if you wanted to, but I don't, you can figure out how long a piece is by knowing how many measures there are, and the tempo, and a bunch of other things.

I'm meaning lyrics. As in I always have a song in my head. I'll wake up in the morning, and a song will be in my head. Sometimes it is a song I listened to the day before, other times it is a song I haven't heard in a week. Either way, the song always matches my mood for that day.

But I do get where you're coming from. That happens with me too. What puts me in a crappy mood is where I have multiple songs in my head, and I can't filter out the sound that's coming to me.

I get that. I usually just try to focus on one song and ignore the rest. ALthough I will say, sometimes the songs actually work together. -
I doubt bibbity-bobbity-boo, and peanut butter jelly time go together very well.

I once had bobbity-bobbity-boo stuck in my head for over a month.
