And I don't even get to send the kid who's playing Aladdin to the ends of the earth. After I sing the song, I just laugh maniacally, while Genie gives advice to Aladdin. And then I basically have to act like the wicked witch of the west.
-
And there's no romance, because this year, we're doing Broadway kids instead of broadway junior, so that there is no romance.
-
And the lamp vendor doesn't even mention julian fries!
sad. -
Summary of this Aladdin musical:
Jasmine doesn't want to get married, and it's already part of the ancient law that if the princess doesn't find a prince, she marries the royal vizier. She runs away, and bumps into Aladdin while he's singing his one jump ahead song. Then they run away from the guards together. They go to Aladdin's home, the guards come, she reveals herself as princess, and the guards take Aladdin away, regardless. Then she sings the second one jump ahead, you know the one that's slow and emotional. Jafar strikes a deal with Aladdin, and they go to the cave of wonders. Aladdin gets lamp, can't quite get back out, then falls back into the cave, still holding the lamp. Aladdin rubs the lamp for light, and out pops the genie. Aladdin wishes to get out of the cave, then to make him a prince. Jasmine talks to her dad about Jafar, who tells Jafar that he can't do that sort of thing anymore. Then Aladdin comes in all his glory. Then Jasmine and Aladdin get along with each other from the beginning, meanwhile, Jafar pickpockets Aladdin, taking the lamp without him noticing. Then Jasmine and Aladdin go on their magic carpet trip, where Aladdin is not revealed as Aladdin. While they're on their trip, Jafar changes Agrabah, and Aladdin is revealed, then Jafar is defeated. The genie gets freed, and Jasmine is allowed to do whatever she wants with marriage. Jasmine and Aladdin do not marry, and they live happily ever after. -
WooooooooW That is the kids bop form of Aladdin.
-
It's kinda stupid.
-
Indeed
-
And they spelled Ababua wrong. They spelled it Abawa, so that you pronounce it right. Most people know how it's spelled, and how to pronounce it. And they have words like quandary.

WooooooW

I am the pillow of my group. I had 4 people laying on me a couple minutes ago. Which I actually didn't mind. I was surprised to find how comfortable I am with someone using my chest as a pillow. I thought having someone lay on me would be uncomfortable.
-
Yeah, it's actually not as bad.
-
I was so close to falling asleep. We both were.
-
It was so windy today, I and another friend had to chase so many balls that went across the street today. Wind + Balls + Street = running all over the place.
-
And there was this little red ball that kept on getting away. And whenever we'd try to toss it to the person, or kick the ball to get some ground covered, guess what blew even harder? The wind.
-
The wind was not your friend today.
