Bless you
-
I heard the term "God Bless You" Came from England during the time of the plague because it was so bad anytime someone sneezed, they'd say that in hopes they wouldn't be sick.
-
This goes back to more superstitious times when a sneeze was believed to separate the soul from the body. To prevent the devil stealing the soul the incantation “bless you” (i.e. God bless you) was uttered to release the soul from Satan's clutches and return it to its rightful owner.
One of the symptoms of the plague was coughing and sneezing, and it is believed that Pope Gregory I (Gregory the Great) suggested saying “God bless you” after a person sneezed in hopes that this prayer would protect them from an otherwise certain death. The expression may have also originated from superstition. -

turns out the version I heard is the superstitious one. -
Ahhh I see.

Unbless you because you guys study too much about stuff
-
We weren't studying. We were answering our questions.
-
But that reminds me of when our pastors were on a rotation for lent, one of them, while he was blessing us, he did the cross with his hands very sloppily and loosely, and now it's a joke in our class. If you do it backwards, you unbless them.
-
XD whoa
-
I bless you with my gods.
-
It was rather silly. We were unblessing our opponents at the basketball tournament every time they were going to make a shot, and most of the time it actually worked.
-
Hahahahaha nice!
-
yeah.

Rice Crisps are surprisingly good.
