However, being crazy is not the same thing as being eccentric.

Insanity is freedom in my opinion. Trying to be normal when you aren't is a true mental illness.

And crazy is a good thing. I'm proud to be crazy, because being crazy means to be your own person and to let your imagination soar rather than to be restricted to every day social rules and limitations. Crazy and Mentally ill are two different things. You can be mentally ill but not be crazy, and crazy but not mentally ill. It's just that society tends to say that mental illness and craziness go hand in hand, when that isn't always the case. -
