Honestly, Geek does have a point in saying that we're older and it might be more beneficial for you to talk to someone your age that's also going through the same things as you. Because I know that when I was younger, if someone older than me tried to explain a situation to me or give me advice, I would ignore them and get more frustrated because I felt like they could never understand what I was going through. It wasn't till I got older that I realized that they were right, but that's only something that you can experience for yourself
