I'm usually the head/dm of the roleplays I'm in because I have lots of ideas that can drive the plot forward, or I'm the creator the roleplay and I'm in control of a lot of action amd events that the rest of the characters respond to
But for "I Summon Thee" I realise that it's not a group roleplay, and that we're two people trying to develop a story together, equally.
The point is, I have some arc ideas and I realized that I shouldn't keep them to myself because I'm not the main one in control of the roleplay like usual! Here they are, in no particular order:
1. Eve arc, where Cain's sister comes back. I had an idea that she was a demon hunter and that she found the presence of demon energy near her old home and went to invistigate and protect her family
2. Bully/gang arc, where Cain runs into some of his old classmates that treated him really bad. Now they're gang members, and after spotting Cain they start terrorising him again and send people to beat him up/stalk him
3. Ex arc, where Cain's ex girlfriend comes into the picture and tries to get with him again, even though she used to be abusive verbally and mentally and she cheated on him multiple times
4. Runaway/disowned arc, where Cain runs away (whether or not Virgil comes kinda depends) it's be interesting if Virgil didn't go though, and tries to track down Cain (I imagine it won't be a problem, they're connected because of the bond)
5. Repent arc, where Cain's dad yells at him and Cain either confesses everything or he totally reverts back into his old self due to fear. He'd be the totally good Christian boy he once was, a big step back in his character development. How long this last also kinda depends heh
Those are my ideas, if you wanna add or take away, that's fine! Tell me what you think :^) -
I struggle to make cool plot points so I'm more than happy to let you be the driving force lol
1 could definitely be interesting
2 would be really nice for Virgil to get some victims >:)
3 would def make Virgil get territorial lol
4 would be interesting, but I think I prefer the others a bit more
5 would make Virgil have to unreverse him LOL could be a good one -
I think we should do 1, 2, 3, and 5 but at different points
Maybe start with 2 or 3 (or both??) and then move on to 5, ending with 1. If Cain goes back to being a reserved and jumpy Christian after everything he's been through, I can see him trying to help his sister get rid of Virgil (but feeling guilty since he'd have bonded with his little demon...) Lots of drama would ensue -
Sounds good! 1, 2, and 3 were the main ones anyway, I kinda just added 4 and 5 as I was typing and they came to mind
5 would definitely make things interesting, it's like a two step forward one step back thing, and whenever Virgil finally snaps Cain out of it, he'll be more confident and independent and overall more sure of himself and the decisions he makes :) -
