I feel like I'm no longer who I used to be
It took a long time to realize what was looking in the mirror just wasn't me
I tried to make peace but my soul was the fee
But my best friend stood in to save me
He told me that he had felt the same way too
He spoke "there were days where I felt just like you"
And then he told me he believed that I could power through
That he believed in me and that I could too
And my best friend will always be my hero
The number 1 to this number 0
And I will never try to leave this earth
Not unless my best friend leaves first
I confide in him the only one who trusts
And to be honest I've only talked him up
But everytime I want to talk something will come up
I send many texts only to receive near no responses
I'm a burden on my best friend
And that will always leave me haunted
