Do you know any recipes from the great depression era? Not ones that are like common nowadays (aka on the first page of google)
Maybe a recipe that has been passed down in your family since around that time? I have a project due and I need some recipes :) -
I’ve found some but it’s probably ones that a lot of people are doing, so i can’t just make the same thing as them

In Scotland it was mainly oatmeal dishes, such as pan haggis, which contained no actual meat.
I think potato based products were also pretty popular, but I lack an exact recipe I’m so sorry, I could ask my history teacher on Monday for you? -
Oh, it’s fine :) the oatmeal part was enough and i asked a friend who gave me a whole book. I deeply appreciate the help, lil ❤
