how am I supposed to feel when a person I love and trusted hurts me like that? I don't know how I can go on pretending nothing happened. my trust in him has been absolutely broken. I feel very lost.

he's my dad and as of right now I live with him
I can't ditch him until summer at the soonest
I doubt he'll hurt me again between now and then but I still don't feel right

me five mins later: *arguing passionately with my classmates over whether or not New Vegas is better than Fallout 3 (it is)* -
usually I wouldn't get that heated but he actually said New Vegas wasn't good which set me and the other Seth off and we spent like 30 minutes arguing about it instead of doing our work lmao

yes New Vegas is absolutely the best and it's in my top 3 fav games of all time without a doubt -
for me, I very deeply value writing in video games. New Vegas has great writing, strong and interesting characters, and an environment one feels compelled to explore and uncover the mysteries of. I don't think Fallout 4 is bad or anything, but it just doesn't have as good of a story or as good of characters as NV in my opinion. then again, I haven't really played much of 4 (I found it difficult to get into) and I've played a f---ton of 3 and NV so I generally leave it out of my comparison of Fallout games. maybe my opinion will change sometime in the future when I get around to actually finishing it.
NV is way better than 3 in a lot of ways and I find it kind of useless to elaborate on that because it should be pretty self-evident -
the test was multiple choice so I don't understand why they can't just calculate my score and email me the results immediately so I know if I at least have a chance instead of waiting to tell me after everyone else has tested and then telling me whether I made state or not -_-
I think I did all right but idk if I did well enough to make it -
