Marina panicked, but Pearl continued on with little regard for Callie Squid's disappearance. With the main Zapfish gone as well, Inkopolis was left on a limited power supply.
Blush grew concerned and proceeded to search for help. Not too far from where she was standing, a mysterious Inkling stood in a black kimono over a grate. She approached the Inkling, and immediately she pulled Blush through the grate, taking her to a high up canyon! -

The mysterious Inkling revealed herself to be none other than Marie Squid, the famous cousin of Callie Squid and the other member of the Squid Sisters! She looked over Blush, then decided to finally tell her who she really was--more than just a popstar. Marie told Blush that she'd been keeping a lowkey profile in order to stay safe while she searched for Callie. But she needed help; it turned out that she was apart of the secret Squid-Beaked Splatoon, the defenders of Inkopolis against the Octarians--an menacing group of octopus kids led by Octavio.
Marie had the feeling that the Octarians had taken the Zapfish, so she set off to find it and her cousin, but with the other agents of the Squid-Beaked Splatoon missing, she was left to do it herself.
Finding Blush, Marie immediately threw her a uniform and recruited her as Agent 4, giving her a weapon and some tips of the battlefield. It seemed that now, the fate of the Inklings rested on Blush. -

Blush set off, carrying out every order Marie gave her, pushing back the forces of the Octarians and making her way towards their base, saving mini-zapfish that had been gathered to use as small power sources.
Blush wondered why the Octarians couldn't get along with Inklings. After all, Marina was an Octoling, not an Inkling, and she got along just fine with them. Marie explained that it was a war that'd lasted from thousands of years, but the Octarians weren't always that way. Something caused them to fight the Inklings, but she didn't know what.
Making her way towards the Octarian base, Marie talks to Sheldon, the weapon maker for the Squid-Beaked Splatoon. While they're in the middle of a conversation, they receive a strange interference over the radio, and a very familiar voice telling them to turn back, or else. -

Marie told Blush not to mind the message and keep going. But again, right before breaking into the base, Marie received a strange message. She couldn't understand it at first, then she asked, "Are you holding the radio upside-down?" "Ugh. Yeah, I totally was," the voice answered. "Callie?" "What? Uh, no! Definitely not Callie!"
Marie knew for sure that was her cousin, but what could've happened to her? Marie wondered, but knew it couldn't have been anything good if Callie was threatening her. -

After a long struggle, Blush finally found Callie at the center of the base, standing in a large arena, unrecognizable for her Octoling makeover. She stood before Agent 4 and bragged. "You like my new shades? They look so fresh, don't they?"
Marie gasped as Octavio came out from nowhere. "They're my new mind control shades!" the Octarian commander said.
Octavio figured that the best way to destroy the Inklings was with an Inkling, so by mind controlling Callie, he'd make her do it!
Because he was a DJ, and Callie was a singer, he created a large, floating machine that reacted to Callie's powerful singing. He could launch attacks while Callie attempted to brainwash Agent 4! With DJ Octavio's music, and Callie's vocals, the plan was working well. Agent 4 wasn't ready to give up, even though the fight got tough. Then, just when it seemed hopeless, Marie showed up with Sheldon flying her overhead. Using her Charger (the Splatoon version of a sniper rifle) Marie shot Low Tide ink right into Callie's shades, knocking them off her face!
The Low-Tide ink stunned Callie and began to snap her out of her mind controlled state, but she still continued to sing! Marie began to sing as well to fight off Callie's mind control song as Agent 4 pushed through and grounded DJ Octavio's weapon. -

When Octavio's weapon crashed and hit the ground, Callie snapped out of it completely, but now she was in a daze. Marie pulled out a radio (from I don't know where) and began to play a song. She called out to Callie, "Remember that heavenly melody!"
"Our songs reflect the world," Callie answered, "and the world reflects our songs!"
"The one, the only, Squid Sisters!"
Callie leaped from DJ Octavio and onto the hovercraft with Marie, then singing Spicy Calamari Inkantation, the theme of the Squid Sisters!
The song was so powerful and so annoying to DJ Octavio, he knew he couldn't face it, so he tried to run away with the Zapfish as a power source for his mega weapon!
Just when Blush thought she had no way of taking down his armored weapon, Sheldon dropped off the mystical rainmaker replica--it was redesigned for extra fire power!
Using the rainmaker, Blush chased DJ Octavio up into the air and took out his machine, causing him to crash and land in a serious daze, then she jumped down on top of him, slamming the rainmaker down on his weapon to make sure it'd never fly again!
While Octavio was having his fit, Marie caught him and shoved him inside of a giant snow globe to make sure he wouldn't escape. (I don't know why she used a snow globe.)
Having the Zapfish, Blush returned it back to Inkopolis Square. It seemed that no one knew how it got back, but they were all happy to have it.
Callie was also returned to Inkopolis Square, and that very same night, she and Marie performed in a concert for Inkopolis.
Thanks to Agent 4, the Inklings can now enjoy their lives again, not having to worry about DJ Octavio. -

I like Splatoon because it combines all of my favorite things: Music, a shooter-type game, and cute all in one! Before now, I didn't even know it was possible to create such a thing.
