Samus tried to reason with him, but in the end, she knew he was only a machine, and he wouldn't understand...Or, would he?
Samus called him Adam out loud. Before, she'd only done this in her mind 'cause, you know, that would've been awkward. But she slipped up and said it out loud, and like someone regaining their memory, slowly, the computer reacted the exact way the real Adam would've! It turns out, the computer was given Adam's knowledge and personality, so yes, he DID understand!
Adam gave one final mission to Samus: set the detonation course of the station to intercept SR388, so that the blast from the explosion would destroy the X in the station, and on the planet. Samus completed the mission, but knew that after violating the Federation's property, she'd have to go to court. Adam repeated what the real Adam had told her when he was alive: "Someone will understand. Someone must."
Samus was the unsung heroine who saved the galaxy from its near extinction. Only she could see what the X were truly capable of, even though the Galactic Federation was wanting to keep the parasites.
But somewhere out there, the X still remain on SR388... -

Well, it's 5:30, thirty minutes past the time I planned to go play. It's okay, but my sister's already downstairs.
